Our schools' Learning Programme offers immersive art experiences designed to build confidence, foster visual literacy, and develop practical art-making skills.

Through interactive tours and hands-on workshops, we aim to inspire students to form and express their ideas creatively.

We’ve been fortunate to work with Sally Bacon OBE, a leading advocate for cultural learning, whose expertise has helped shape the Programme’s vision.

Eva Rothschild

Working with a wide range of materials including fabric, leather, resin, wood and acrylic, Rothschild combines hand-made processes with industrial fabrication. Her sculptures frequently reference modernist traditions, employing geometric forms and elements associated with Minimalism.

New York-based artist, Polly Apfelbaum (b.1955) is celebrated for her vibrant, multidisciplinary approach. Known for her installations that bring together textiles, ceramics, prints and drawings, framed by the legacy of both post-war art and popular culture, she blurs the lines between painting, sculpture and installation while challenging the boundaries between art and craft.

Lee Ufan

South Korean sculptor, painter, writer and philosopher, Lee Ufan was born in 1936 in Kynongnam and lives between France and Japan. He studied calligraphy, poetry and painting at the College of Kyongnam and Seoul National University.

Yayoi Kusama

Born in Matsumoto, Japan in 1929, Yayoi Kusama is known for her immersive installations and distinctive use of polka dots and proliferating forms. Working across drawing, painting, collage, soft sculpture, film, installation, performance, writing, and commercial projects, she has developed a diverse and highly personal body of work that addresses ideas of infinity and “self-obliteration.”

Nancy Holt (1938–2014) was a central figure in the earth, land, and conceptual art movements, and a major innovator of site-specific installation and experimental moving image. Over five decades, her work explored our relationship to the world, examining perception, systems and place.
