Be among the first to experience the world premiere of a new composition by interdisciplinary musician, artist, DJ and broadcaster Nabihah Iqbal, performed live in nature this May. Tickets include all day entry to the Foundation.
Commissioned by Goodwood Art Foundation, two intimate performances blending classical and electronic sounds offer a rare opportunity to experience new music within the natural landscape that inspired its creation.
Following an immersion this spring in the surrounding Sussex landscape and building on the inspiration of John Keats' poetry, Iqbal's first concert-length piece explores the delicate interplay between nature, melancholy and quiet joy.
Imagined, Eternal. will be performed live with experimental string ensemble Manchester Collective. Additional appearances by guest artists t l k (23 May) and Lucinda Chua (24 May), plus site-specific live visuals by Daisy Dickinson, will deliver unforgettable experiences at the cutting-edge of British contemporary music.
Tickets include all-day entry to the Foundation, including access to the new summer art programme and our restaurant, 24.

About Nabihah Iqbal
Nabihah Iqbal is an interdisciplinary musician, composer, DJ and broadcaster whose work moves fluidly between electronic and classical sound. Her critically acclaimed album ‘DREAMER’ and collaborations with artists including Wolfgang Tillmans and institutions such as Tate Modern and the Barbican have established her as a distinctive voice in contemporary music. Her first classical composition, ‘What Psyche Felt’, marked a new direction in her practice, combining string quartet with electronics.

t l k is the project of Bristol-based producer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and collaborator, Tara Lily Klein. The t l k sound has been shaped by Bristol’s live improvisation scene and manifested in Tara’s introverted moments. Combining intricate vocal layering with field recordings, analogue synthesis and digital processing, t l k creates immersively ethereal, heavy-leaning landscapes to better understand the worlds in which we swim.

About Lucinda Chua
London based Lucinda Chua is a composer, songwriter, singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist, born to Chinese/Malaysian and British parents. Primarily using her voice, a cello, and an array of effects units, Lucinda creates music that is intimate, atmospheric, and totally enchanting. Emphasising the space between sounds as the notes themselves, gently unravelling them to reveal emotional textures. She views music as an innate, non-verbal language through which she expresses the depths of her inner world.

About Daisy Dickinson
Daisy Dickinson is a London-based director and visual artist working across moving image and live audiovisual performance. Her practice moves between experimental film, projected installation, and live immersive environments. Her installation and performance work have appeared at venues such as the Barbican, Royal Festival Hall, the ICA, CERN in Geneva and festivals Berlin Atonal, Glastonbury, plus tours across Europe, Japan and Taiwan.
